As the flagship of our fleet, the MV Vagabond Spirit is a striking 32-metre twin-hull catamaran that blends timeless elegance with modern design. Her clean lines, towering 12-metre height, and impressive 9-metre beam make a bold statement from the moment she approaches the wharf. Inside, warm timber finishes and sleek stainless accents set the tone across two spacious dining decks, complemented by large wrap-around windows that invite the harbour in. With a stylish mix of chairs, lounges, and banquette seating, she offers a refined yet relaxed atmosphere for any occasion.
Built with safety and comfort in mind, her catamaran design ensures a smooth and stable cruise across Sydney Harbour. The fully carpeted interiors are air-conditioned for year-round comfort and provide flexible layouts to suit everything from seated banquets to cocktail events. Outside, guests can enjoy fully furnished decks and a skyroof level offering panoramic 360-degree views—perfect for sunset selfies and harbour photo ops.
MV Vagabond Spirit is a purpose-built charter vessel, designed to host events with ease. Each of her two indoor decks features a fully stocked licensed bar, while a high-end sound system, dynamic lighting, and a polished parquet dance floor turn every evening into a celebration. AV capabilities, a central PA system, and cordless microphone are all available for seamless speeches, presentations, or live entertainment.
Our onboard catering is freshly prepared and proudly showcases seasonal local ingredients. Whether it’s roaming canapés or our signature harvest buffet, every menu is crafted to impress. Guests can enjoy premium South Australian wines, a curated selection of Australian beers, and non-alcoholic options, all included in your charter package.
To elevate your experience, we also offer a wide range of entertainment and extras. From live bands and DJs to professional photographers, photo booths, aqua golf and even laser clay pigeon shooting, your event can be as laid-back or lively as you like.
MV VAGABOND SPIRIT COST FOR UP TO 200 PAX (4 HOURS)
Sundays (Jan–Oct): $4,600 → $1,150 per hour
Monday–Friday (Jan–Oct): $4,500 → $1,125 per hour
Monday–Thursday (Nov–Dec): $4,800 → $1,200 per hour
Public Holidays & Sundays (Nov–Dec): $5,700 → $1,425 per hour
Wharf Fees: $65 per stop
Extra Guests (Over 200 PAX): +$10 per person
â–ª A compulsory cleaning fee applies at the rate of $300 for MV Vagabond Spirit
â–ª A bond is payable prior to the cruise date. Funds will be returned as long as no damages are found on board. Secondary inspections may be required
â–ª Prices for all vessels will differ on days of Special Events
â–ª Additional vessel hire (over and beyond the 4 hours provided) is charged at $1000 per hour for MV Vagabond Spirit
Floating Festival Raft Events vs Private Charter Boat Hire
We have two exciting options to choose from:
1. Join our renowned floating festival raft-up events! We gather a fleet of yachts at Rose Bay Wharf and sail to a secret spot on Sydney Harbour. There, we link up the yachts to create an afternoon party zone with top local DJs spinning tunes. You can reserve an entire yacht or purchase individual tickets. Prices start at *$3000 for a whole yacht and *$165 per person for a single ticket.
2. Prefer a private experience? You can hire a boat exclusively for you and your friends to explore Sydney Harbour without other vessels nearby. Prices for private charters range from *$300 per hour to *$1250 per hour. (*Additional fees may apply.)

b) Payment plan – Pay 10% a week over 10 weeks (not available if event is within 10 weeks)
c) Social Split – Pay small deposit and we’ll email you a private ticket link to share with your friends to pay off the remaining balance - Proceed to check out by completing attendee info, customer & billing info
