Platypus 2 is a 34ft Seawind Resort catamaran and one of the most versatile and social charter boats on Sydney Harbour. With capacity for up to 30 guests, she’s designed for easy entertaining, offering the perfect balance of comfort, functionality, and open space.

Unlike standard catamarans, Platypus 2 features a unique open-plan layout, combining the indoor and outdoor areas into one seamless entertainment space. Guests can move freely around the vessel, relax, dance, and dine while enjoying uninterrupted views of the harbour.

At the front of the boat, trampoline-style sun beds provide the perfect spot to stretch out and soak up the sun. A built-in gas BBQ makes onboard catering effortless, and the crew are happy to take over the cooking once the vessel is at anchor.

Platypus 2 is ideal for a wide range of occasions, from birthday parties and casual corporate cruises to summer gatherings and Australia Day celebrations. Her spacious design, easy layout, and relaxed atmosphere make her one of the best-value mid-sized charter boats available.

Hourly rate includes BYO catering, garbage removal, use of BBQ, cooking utensils, serving equipment, and esky. Crew will cook the BBQ while anchored.

Includes disposable crockery, cutlery, cups, and napkins. Client must supply ice.

Floating Festival Raft Events vs Private Charter Boat Hire

We have two exciting options to choose from:

1. Join our renowned floating festival raft-up events! We gather a fleet of yachts at Rose Bay Wharf and sail to a secret spot on Sydney Harbour. There, we link up the yachts to create an afternoon party zone with top local DJs spinning tunes. You can reserve an entire yacht or purchase individual tickets. Prices start at *$3000 for a whole yacht and *$165 per person for a single ticket.

2. Prefer a private experience? You can hire a boat exclusively for you and your friends to explore Sydney Harbour without other vessels nearby. Prices for private charters range from *$300 per hour to *$1250 per hour. (*Additional fees may apply.)

    b) Payment plan – Pay 10% a week over 10 weeks (not available if event is within 10 weeks)
    c) Social Split – Pay small deposit and we’ll email you a private ticket link to share with your friends to pay off the remaining balance
